Terms and Conditions of Hire

 

The “Client” means the person or company booking the booth for hire.

 

By making a booking with Flash Booth Events Cyprus, it is deemed the client has fully read and understood and accepted our terms and conditions.

 

In the event of circumstances preventing Flash Booth Events Cyprus, from attending the booked event (such as traffic, weather conditions etc.) a full refund will be made or a pro-rota reduction in the event of a delayed start. No further compensation will be paid.

 

All bookings are subject to a €100.00 non-refundable deposit. The final balance is to be paid and cleared 4 weeks prior to the event start date.

 

Any cancellations will be subject to the following charges:

Within 8 weeks of the event date 25%

Within 6 weeks of the event date 50%

Within 4 weeks of the event date 75%

Within 2 weeks of the event date 100%

 

The client is responsible for ensuring that the venue agrees to Flash Booth Events Cyprus attending and has made provision for our requirements. Reasonable access for unloading and parking is essential. Access to an electricity supply is required and sufficient space in which to operate. Flash Booth Events Cyprus reserves the right to refuse delivery if this is not adhered to. In such circumstances no refund will be given.

 

The photo booth will be set up in one location as agreed on arrival & cannot be moved.

 

Flash Booth Events Cyprus reserves the right to terminate the booth hire if at any time the behaviour of the client (or a guest of the client) endangers the equipment or any person’s safety. In such circumstances no refund will be made.

 

Photographs taken during the event may be used by Flash Booth Events Cyprus, for future advertising or promotions unless we are specifically informed otherwise.

 

You agree that email and other electronic communications can be used as a long-distance means of communication and acknowledge that all contracts, notices, information and other communications that we provide to you electronically comply with any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

 

Where the client requests to extend their hire time on the date of their event a fee shall be charged. We will quote for this service at the time of the request, the request will be granted subject to availability.

 

Flash Booth Events Cyprus reserve the right to charge additional fees for bank holiday dates such as Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve where staff costs are increased. These fees will be agreed at the time of booking in writing.

 

Photo design requests will be sent out at the time of booking and at least 1 month prior to the date of the event. If this has not been received within 2 weeks then the client will receive plain images with no text. Photo designs cannot be received over the telephone as spelling mistakes may occur and Flash Booth Events Cyprus will not be liable to pay any refund.

 

Force Majeure

 

We shall have no liability for delays or failures in delivery or performance of our obligations to you resulting from any act, events, omissions, failures or accidents that are outside of our control (‘Force Majeure’), which, without limitation, include:

 

Strikes, lockouts or other industrial action

Shortages of labour, fuel, power, raw materials

Late, defective performance or non-performance by suppliers

Private or public telecommunication, computer network failures or breakdown of equipment.

Civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war.

Fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster or extreme weather conditions.

Acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government

Accident damage or injury to either our vehicle(s), staff or equipment on route to the event

Any other causes beyond our reasonable control
